National Multiple Sclerosis Society - 360 Quality Care and Transport

Preferred Transportation Resource

At 360, cultivating and servicing great partners is what it's all about. The National Multiple Sclerosis Society is undoubtedly one of our most important. Many of our clients suffer from this disease and we are proud to do our part as a Preferred Transportation Resource for those fighting this challenging disease.

Multiple sclerosis (MS) involves an immune-mediated process in which an abnormal response of the body’s immune system is directed against the central nervous system (CNS).

The CNS is made up of the brain, spinal cord and optic nerves. Within the CNS, the immune system causes inflammation that damages myelin — the fatty substance that surrounds and insulates the nerve fibers — as well as the nerve fibers themselves, and the specialized cells that make myelin. People with MS have a variety of healthcare needs including but not limited to: addressing neurological symptoms, emotional and psychological issues, rehabilitation and loss of mobility.

Multiple sclerosis is an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system. There is currently no cure for MS. Symptoms vary from person to person and range from numbness and tingling, to mobility challenges, blindness and paralysis. An estimated 1 million people live with MS in the United States. Most people are diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 50, and it affects women three times more than men.

360 Quality Care and Transport supports and applauds the National MS Society in their effort to secure resources for those clients of ours who desperately need it. Medical office visits require transportation and we stand next to our clients by providing a safe, reliable service at a reasonable cost.

The National MS Society exists through advocacy, and provides programs and services to help people affected by MS live their best lives. Connect to learn more and get involved: NationalMSsociety.org, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube or 1-800-344-4867.
